Erasmus Point Naples is free assistance for all international students taking part into Erasmus Project as guests of L’Orientale, Engeneering Department of Pathenope. Moreover we care for students of Music School of Naples, “Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella”, for all Chinese students belonging to “Marco Polo” and “Turandot” projects and for PhDs, researchers, professors.

Our society has committed since its establishment 1989 in the assistance and search for accomodation for all international guests choosing Naples and its universities to study and live.

Our aim is a quick and easy inclusion in local social life.

2006 we were invited by National Bureau for Erasmus-MIUR at the National Erasmus Meeting to present our activity in cooperation with International Office Federico II. In that occasion we were officially mentioned and recognized by Dr Clara Grano, responsible for Erasmus Project in Italy, and awarded with “Best Practice 2006” Prize for “Welcome to Naples” project, as the best assistance service among all Italian universities. 2008 we organized, in cooperation with National Bureau for Erasmus-MIUR, “Erasmus Day”, a yearly appointment.

These goals achieved have been improving during last years, our service is considered as one of the best in Europe. Naples is the only European city offering to international guests a special office for their welcome and assistance.

Our collaboration is not only for European students, but is open to Brazilian, Russian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Chilean, Turkish, American, Australian universities.

First of all we are glad you chose Naples for your study abroad!

We would like to inform you on some points in order to avoid troubles and to make you comfortable as much as we can when you arrive in Naples.

-Book your first accommodation in one of the best hostel in Naples for a very good price: Naples Pizza Hostel. Click on the website Naplespizzahostel and choose the best solution for you!

-Go to the International Office of your Faculty in Naples to make the registration and get the certificate. Remember to take it always with you.

- Go to the “Internal Revenue Service” (Agenzia delle Entrate) located in Via Oberdan 1-3 to make the fiscal registration. You must go there with a COPY of your passport (or I.D. card), a COPY of your visa (if you are an extra – European student), COPY of your university certificate. With these papers you will get the FISCAL CODE, a very important identification document for facilitations during your stay in Italy.

Come to Erasmus Point Office, it’s very close to the hostel as you can see on the map in attachment! We help you to find a suitable house for you. Erasmus Point gives you the chance to visit flats with us or with the landlords.

VERY IMPORTANT: Before coming to our office bring the following copies of:

- YOUR UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATE
- YOUR PASSPORT OR ID CARD

Erasmus Point gives you the assistance in opening a bank account for you.

Besides, our staff gives you the assistance in opening bank account and in submitting the application form for the PERMIT OF STAY. Go to Poste Centrali in Piazza Matteotti to get the yellow kit and then come here!
